Accommodation can also be booked in one of the hotels in the sea-side suburbs of Getxo and Portugalete, in particular at Hotel Neguri, Hotel Igeretxe, Hotel Embarcadero, Hotel High Tech Tamaris, Artaza, Pension Areeta, or at Gran Hotel Puente Colgante. The metro connects these suburbs in about 25’ to the city center. However, from Mo-Thu the last metro leaves from Bilbao around 11pm! (Fridays and Saturdays they go all night - see also Metro.)

Last but not least accommodation is also possible in one of the various apartments and inexpensive pensions, e.g., Edificio Atxuri, Edificio Santiago, or Pensíon Begoña. They can be booked directly or via BilbaoTurismo, which has many more pensions in its database.
